2019 Year-End Review

Today is the last day of the year 2019, the year 2020 is coming very closely, everybody in my connection in Facebook is excited to review their last year, they make me feel want to review my this year too. So I think this time is great to review what I have done this year although I did not achieve many things this year 😂.

So, what should I review first?

hmm...

Because I am a senior student, so the most important thing for me is learning, so I think to review my academic achievement is suitable.

This year I have finished three semesters, I did not fail at any subject. Sound great, right? 😁😁😁😁

This year is the greatest year in my three years at university because this year I have taken an internship at FPT Software, actually, I don't like to take an internship from F-Soft but for few reasons, this is the best choice for me at this time. But it turns out that this is not a bad choice.

When I was an intern at F-soft, I have learned many things, Nodejs, VueJS, Spring Framework,...

I have completed a lot of coding project which improve my coding skills so much.

I start to learn data science. I hope that next year I will ready to work in the data field.

What I have completed

To take an internship, I have to take some interviews, that is the first time I go for an interview. I feel worried at first but eventually, I think I did it.

This year I take part in camping for the first time ever. It great too, I really forget who I am to enjoy camping with everyone. But at the end of camping, I remember who I am, fortunately 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋.

This year I have an intent to switch my field of study, so I have made an application form to submit to Fulbright University, but at the last time I have withdrawn the application because I think I have live-in school and university too much, I should go out to learn from life-school.

One of the reasons for withdrawing the application to Fulbright that I have found a new major of study, that is data science. I have finished a statistic and probability course to start my data science learning. This statistic and probability is my first finished online course.

This year, I feel my English skills better so much. Speaking, reading and listening are improved so much than last year. I feel more confident when speaking English. I have installed an application called Elsa to improve my speaking skills, but shame on me, I am not practicing regularly.

The exam software at my university is down and a lot of mistakes have made. Those mistakes really have some bad effect on me and I didn't receive any sorry from the university. I really mad at the university council, so have written and sent some email to complain about the university. So far, I never dare to do something like this.

In conclusion, this year I dare to do something that has never done so far.

Then, I review what I haven't done this year, 😖😖😖😖

I have granted an education account from Amazone Web Service to learn cloud-computing when I was an intern at F-soft, but in the end, I don't have enough time to accomplished this course.

This year I think blockchain gonna be a hot technology in the next few years, I start to find tutorials to learn blockchain, but then I quit because I don't have enough time and I feel I don't passion on learning blockchain.

At the same time with learning statistics, I also register a philosophy course in EDX but I don't have much time to finished this course, I just watched a few first videos of this course.

This year I not read too many books, just four or five books, with me this is guilty, my target is about ten books for a year. In the next year, I have to consider a serious reading book plan because I start to feel lazy inside me to read the book.

At the time I write this sentence, it 23h26', a new year is coming. After finish this post, I will take a good sleep, the next day will be 2020, I hope its gonna be a memorable year.
